Add up the number of times you choose each language, then click on your chosen language below.

Usefulness (apart from English and Chinese)

  1. If you¡¦re interested in learning another world language, click on French or Spanish.
  2. If you¡¦re interested in learning the language most spoken in Europe, click on German
  3. If you¡¦re interested in learning the language most used on the Internet, click on Spanish or German
  4. If you¡¦re interested in learning the language most studied as a second language, click on French

Relative difficulty

  1. If you¡¦re interested in learning the easiest language, click on Spanish
  2. If you¡¦re interested in learning the most difficult language, click on German

Relative closeness

  1. If you¡¦re interested in learning the language closest to English in vocabulary, click on French
  2. If you¡¦re interested in learning the language closest to English in sound, click on German
  3. If you¡¦re interested in learning the language closest to another European language (i.e. which makes it easier to learn a second European language), click on Spanish or French
