Well, I'll tell you about this one this first date, OK, I won't tell you who with, all right, first date, I took this girl to this restaurant, I was living in Tai Pei [mm hm], so I took her to this restaurant we used to call this the Metal Fish restaurant 'cos the fish, one of their specialties, was carp and the carp came out of the Dan Shui river which was just a filthy disgusting river [right] with a very high metal you know heavy metal content so we called it the Metal Fish Restaurant, anyway it was a pleasant place and it was cheap [mm] and I didn't have much money. So this is our first date, you know, good Sichuan restaurant so of course we ordered the specialty, this carp, right, and as you know, carp has quite a lot of bones, it's got lots of really fine bones in a carp. So we're eating this fish and I took a bite and I got this bone caught in my throat [mm], now if you've ever had a fish bone caught in your throat it tickles really bad, I mean tickles and kind of makes you choke [mm], so you know as I remember the bone was right about here [Did you carry on eating after that?] Well, this is the problem. This is the problem. I kept wanting to throw up 'cos it's making you gag so I'm trying to get this bone out of my throat now this is the first date, man, I'm trying to impress this girl, right, and I'm making all these sounds (makes sounds), 'cos I just wanted to throw up, right, and I've gotta get this bone out, right, so in between (makes sounds) you know these sounds I’m shovelling rice down my throat 'cos that's what you're supposed to do, you know, a fish bone you're supposed to eat a lot of rice, it's very dense, right, so it'll force the fishbone down, right, but nothing was helping, so this whole dinner was just terrible, and I'm thinking the whole time you know this sounds disgusting (makes sounds), all these sounds so I made it through dinner, right, paid the bill, went outside and this fishbone was just driving me crazy and I couldn't help it any more and as soon as we walked out of the front of the restaurant I just 'Blergh!', all of my dinner was right at her feet [oh no!] — this was the first date.

This is the first date — but what happened is she married me later on, so I guess I impressed her, huh?
